The CAC’s Pop Up Arts Shop Welcomes Chantelle Chapman

Douglasville GA – Every month the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County (CAC) features the artwork of a local craftsman in their Pop Up Arts Shop. The CAC strives to connect the Douglasville community to affordable, locally created products, and is proud to welcome Chantelle Chapman and her “Wildlings and Endlings” brand as March’s featured artist! Specializing in many mediums, her work references scientifically accurate, natural forms. From cards to jewelry, and picture books to temporary tattoos, Chantelle brings an impressive diversity to her craft.

Chantelle is a graduate of the School of Art and Design at Kennesaw State University, where she graduated with distinction, earning a BFA in Art with a minor in Art History. The daughter of a painter, Chantelle was born in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, where she grew up surrounded by the beauty of art and nature. Her greatest source of inspiration is her abiding passion for natural history that was kindled during that time.

Working in a variety of traditional media, from oil to ink to gouache, Chantelle uses her art as a powerful storytelling tool, combining written and visual media to craft compelling narratives drawn from the natural world. Her work can be found on Instagram @ChantelleChapman, and on her website, ChantelleChapman.com. She also sells handmade products under her brand name ‘Wildlings and Endlings.’ Visit the Pop Up Arts Shop at the CAC from March 3rd through March 28th to see her uniquely expressive work for yourself.

The Pop Up Arts Shop is the place for amazing one-of-a-kind gifts created by local artists. Each month the CAC features a different artist that works with varying mediums. All items are under $75 so be sure to stop by the CAC for some amazing arts and crafts before they’re gone! The Cultural Arts Council is located at 8652 Campbellton Street in historic downtown Douglasville and is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information visit artsdouglas.org or contact the CAC at 770-949-2787.
