Free Educational Performances for Local Schools
The Cultural Arts Council’s ARTSventures! program connects local classrooms with premier arts education experiences from Georgia-based artists.
This unique program is made up of FREE curricula-based performances and workshops that introduce students to a wide variety of art forms including African and Chinese dance, opera, ballet, flamenco, puppetry, musical performances and much more.
Educators work with the CAC to determine what type of performances and workshops would blend best into their current curriculum, and the CAC uses its artist connections to find the perfect fit.

We are accepting proposals from both artists and schools for our upcoming seasons of ARTSventures. Those interested should contact our arts coordinator, Luciana Vinci, at luciana.vinci@artsdouglas.org.
