Tickets are $170 ($155 CAC member) or $1,500 for a table of 10.

The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County is hosting its annual fundraising gala, themed “Curtains Up: A Celebration of Cinema & Culture” on November 15th from 6 – 10 pm. Come enjoy a tasteful dinner, an all-evening open bar, classy music for dancing, a charming silent auction, and so much more. The dress code is Black Tie or Themed attire.

Auction Donations Needed

The CAC relies on your generosity to help us promote the arts in our community. Please consider donating an item or experience for our Silent Auction taking place during the gala. Your donation is tax-deductible, and we will be happy to help make suggestions or assist in picking up your items if needed. Thank you for all that you do to support us in achieving our mission!

Artist Nominations

Artist awards will be presented at the 2025 Annual Gala & Auction on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, at the GreyStone Power Corporation Auditorium.

Nominations are closed at this time.

There are 4 awards to be presented:

Excellence in Arts in Education: Awarded to an educator, instructor, or education affiliate (PTA, Board of Education, Performing Arts/Music School) making outstanding contributions to the enhancement of arts education by consistently inspiring and encouraging arts in their students.

Arts in Community: Awarded to an individual, corporation, or local organization demonstrating exemplary dedication to inspiring and encouraging the arts in Douglasville and the Douglas County community.

Culture Connects – Awarded to an individual or organization that engages underserved communities through an equity, inclusion, and accessibility lens.

CAC Spirit Award – Awarded to an individual who is always committed to an untiring effort and generously works toward the advancement of the Cultural Arts Council and the arts in the community. The recipient makes a sacrifice of their time, helps improve quality of life, and motivates others to grow arts & culture in the community.
