The Cultural Arts Council is ready to celebrate with the community’s most popular event of the year – the annual Taste of Douglasville!

A FREE children’s entertainment area of art, exploration, and merriment.
Each year, participants not only enjoy Taste of Douglasville, but they also help the Cultural Arts Council support school programs reaching local students, providing affordable spring and summer arts camps in county and city parks, free Family ArtsVentures! curricula-based school performances followed by the same artists performing spring and fall concerts for the whole family, critically acclaimed gallery exhibits at the historic Roberts-Mozley House, and many more special events like the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. The Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/ Douglas County’s (CAC) Annual Taste of Douglasville will have the same family fun, same great taste, just in a new way in 2021! For twenty-nine years, the CAC has celebrated the coming of summer with a Taste of Douglasville festivity. On Saturday, May 15th from 11 am -5 pm the Cultural Arts Center lawn area will be filled with beautiful handmade arts & crafts and better living vendors. A special Kids Korner activity bag will keep the smallest citizens entertained and active. This year, the CAC will be selling “Restaurant Tasting Booklets” for $40 each. Each booklet will have a wide variety of food tickets offering free food items from local restaurants, valued at over $170. Taste of Douglasville 2021 is the Cultural Arts Council’s largest fundraising event.
The Taste of Douglasville Restaurant Tasting Booklets include: The Blu Rose Art Bistro, Bojangles, Broad Street Station, butter’dudder, Chick-fil-A, Farmer’s Table, Gabe’s Downtown, Hooters, Hudson’s Hickory House, iced and topped Bakery, Nothing bundt Cakes, Olive Garden, Pheasant Blue Restaurant- Foxhall, Red Lobster, Shane’s Rib Shack, Sprinkles, and the Vine Café & Market. An extra Bonus section for May 15th only includes: Cool Zone, DQ& J Catering, the Hud, Kona Ice, Proof of the Pudding, Sweet Sisters Ice cream & Treats, West Georgia Technical College,
The Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/ Douglas County (CAC) will be taking the utmost precautionary measures to keep our participants and community safe. We will continue to stay up to date on best practices put forth by the State and will adjust as needed.
Restaurant Tasting Booklets can be picked up at the CAC between Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm OR during the event on May 15th from 11 am – 5pm.
