Winter Wonderland Holiday Exhibit Invitation

Children Invited to Exhibit Joys of the Season

The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/ Douglas County (CAC) is excited to celebrate the Holiday season by exhibiting joyful artwork by youth throughout the community. Students kindergarten through twelfth grade are invited to create unique artworks to display at the CAC’s renowned gallery during the holiday season exhibit. Calling all teachers, neighborhoods, and homeschooling groups, pass forward the invitation so every child can have a chance in the spotlight, as well as a chance of being awarded a certificate in his/her age group, sponsored by the Red Cockerill Gallery.

Interested individuals or parties must email to register @ Brittany.gilbert@artsdouglas.org, then get to work creating one-of-a-kind 2D artworks in the medium of the artist’s choice. Upon emailing to sign up eligible participants, you will receive a detailed email giving all relevant information about the work you will be showcasing.

Once participants are registered, artworks must be delivered to the center by November 25. Following best practices set forth by the CDC and State guidelines, a festive reception will be held to honor the artists on the evening of December 3, 5-7 pm. The exhibit will remain for the public to view until December 17, and private tours will also be available.
