Adventures in Gel Printing!
Saturday, February 29, 10 AM – 3 PM
Ages 16 – Adult
$40 (CAC member $35) A supply fee of $5 is due directly to the instructors on the day of workshop.

February has 29 days this year. Use that extra day to join Ernie Hendrix and Linda Britt on a fun, playful and experimental journey in which there are no mistakes! You will create several small but instructional projects to take home with you. Easy layered “monoprinting” techniques will be taught, but don’t get overwhelmed by the fancy term – no need to be fancy with this loose and carefree art form. You can create your very own unique pattern using just about anything; and offered for the workshop will be stencils, feathers, bubble wrap and other everyday objects with texture. With this art form you can make greeting cards, journal pages, collages and so much more; the possibilities are endless. Therefore, ample time will be provided for you to play.

A gel plate and “brayer” will be loaned to each student to use for the class. A very generous supply kit and all supplies needed will be furnished by the instructors. And as a special bonus, lunch will be provided!

At the end of the class the gel plate and brayer used by you will be available for purchase at the discounted price of $20. Optional.
