The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County (CAC) invites Douglasville to get into the holiday spirit by joining one of our holiday-themed art classes. From making your own ornament to creating a mini pumpkin patch, the CAC’s art classes are a fun way to get creative, allowing students to learn new skills while also working out their imagination.
How to register for Art Classes?
The holiday season is fast approaching, and the CAC has introduced a variety of themed art classes to help feel the holiday joy. Here is a quick guide on how to sign up for any of our many art classes! Signing up for CAC classes is quick and easy. First, visit www.artsdouglas.org, then navigate to “What We Do” After that select “Classes & Workshops”. Next, select the class you want to join, it’s that simple. Please register in advance.

Ornament Decorating: November 10th from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. All ages can join this class. As December approaches, the thought of decorating the home fills our minds. Add a special touch to your holiday decorating this year by crafting a personalized handmade ornament! Wine Tumbler – Ladies Night: November 13th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Ages 21 +. Ladies, it’s time to embrace your “Queen Status”! Choose a wine tumbler and use vinyl stickers and rhinestones to create a personalized masterpiece. Add some dazzle to your tumbler and show everyone that you rule the room. The Art of Scrapbooking: December 3rd from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Ages 13 +. With all these holiday classes and workshops, you’ll need a place to store your cherished memories! Why not join the CAC to create a scrapbook? Students will be led through the process of crafting a personal photo album using personal photos. Peppermint Soap Making: December 12th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Ages 15 +. Take home a handmade loaf of soap for the holidays to add a special touch around the house for your guests, or gift thoughtful stocking stuffers to loved ones. Nothing makes the holidays feel real like certain scents do. The scents of peppermint transport us to the simple times of fellowship and fun of winter. Mason Jar Lanterns: December 13, From 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. All ages can craft these unique decorative pieces using candles, paint, paper cutouts, and a touch of creativity!
