NEW “POP UP ARTS SHOP” at the CAC
Check out the new Pop Up Arts Shop at The Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/ Douglas County. For December, the CAC is featuring the local artist Lynn Edwards.
Born in New York, Lynn was raised on the Great Plains and has been a Georgia resident since 1976. Largely self-taught, Lynn began painting in 2003. She has studied with nationally known artists such as Robert Burridge, Carrie Burns Brown, and Jo Toye. She has also
taught art for three and a half years in the continuing education department’s OLLI Program at Kennesaw State University and continues to teach mixed media workshops at the Arts House in Acworth, Georgia. Her work is held in private and corporate collections through the U.S. and has been displayed in prestigious venues such as the Booth Western Art.
Lynn lives in Paulding County with her husband Bo where she creates her colorful abstracts, jewelry, and hand painted home décor items in her “studio in the woods”.
The Pop Up Arts Shop is the place for amazing one-of-a-kind gifts created by local artists. Each month the CAC features a different artist that works with varying mediums.
