1 month, 2 great shows!
Join us for Creative Families, an exhibit celebrating artists with a creative lineage. Creativity isn’t grown in a vacuum. In some families, it keeps being nurtured through many branches of the tree, either by blood or partnership. Each artist in this show is lucky enough to be part of that special bond that artists have when they are related. This exhibit showcases mothers, daughters, grandparents, and spouses that continue celebrating a creative tradition in their family with the artwork they make.
Opening reception Thursday, July 12th, 6-8pm, hosted by the Sweetwater Pilot Club. This exhibit and reception will be running in tandem with A Tiny Fundraiser, our annual 6×6 show to benefit the CAC. That’s two exciting shows under the same roof. Visit here to find out more about A Tiny Fundraiser’s “Call for Artwork”.
Both exhibits are on view July 12th – August 15th, Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. Exhibits at the CAC are a great way to encourage learning outside of the classroom for kids and adults during the summer break. Call today to schedule a guided gallery tour for your group or family.
