The Pop Up Arts Shop is the place for amazing one-of-a-kind gifts created by local artists. Each month the CAC features a different artist that works with varying mediums. All items must be priced under $75. Marketing and point-of-sale are handled by the CAC. So, participation is easy for artists.

The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/ Douglas County (CAC) displays another year of exceptional talent from across the country at the National Juried Arts Show (NJAS.)
The NJAS exhibit will be displayed September 2nd – 29th at the CAC gallery, Monday- Friday from 9:00 am-5:00 pm. The opening reception and awards ceremony will be held on September 10th, 6:00-8:00 pm, hosted by the Douglas County Art Guild (DCAG.) Refreshments will be served, and the event is free and open to the public.
Come view the presentation of prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, Honorable Mention, and the DCAG award for a particularly remarkable work of art.
Come back throughout September to tour the exhibit and cast your vote for your favorite artwork. At the end of the month, one last cash prize will be presented for the People’s Choice award.
Enjoy sights, sounds, and flavors from around the world as the Cultural Arts Council and community members come together to celebrate the diversity of cultures that make up the world around us.
This year, the CAC will celebrate the diversity of our community through a multicultural festival on September 12th from 11 am – 4 pm at the Cultural Arts Center grounds. In a world where sharing who we are and where we all come from is becoming the cornerstone to truly understanding our perspectives and paths in life, there is no better time to celebrate cultures and traditions. Enjoy the day through live performances, culturally authentic foods, vendors, and interactive demonstrations, our community contributed to creating an authentic cultural celebration and learning experience.
The Multicultural festival features:
- Recognition and tastings of authentic cultural foods
- An “Artistic Living” area full of arts & crafts representing different ethnicities from around the world
- Performances, offering a variety of styles and sounds
- Interactive demonstrations from cultures from around the world
