A Tiny Fundraiser – Get your 6×6!

Bring Your Art, Build Your Collection

The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/ Douglas County (CAC) brings the community together annually for a great cause – a mesmerizing way to support the arts where you live! It’s an event called “A Tiny Fundraiser” where artists donate 6×6 sized artworks to the CAC in order to keep alive the non-profit organization which provides opportunities to local artists and exhibiting artists throughout the year, as well providing vending opportunities to small business owners each year.

Artists are welcome to pick up 6×6 canvas packets at the center starting May 3, if needed. Artworks must be returned to the center in order to be put on display in the community exhibit by June 28. Each artwork will be sold for $20 to support the arts. Artists will gain exposure and will be listed on the Artsdouglas.org website with their website information. Buyers will have the chance to begin their own mini art collection. For questions about the 6×6 Tiny Fundraiser, email Brittany.Gilbert@artsdouglas.org.

Mini receptions will be held for the “Tiny Fundraiser” exhibit Thursdays in July and August from 5-7 pm, on the following dates: July 8, 15, 22, and August 5, 12, 19. On the nights of July 15, 22, August 12, and 19, vendors will join attendees on the front lawn for a chance to shop local. Follow us on social media for the latest updates about these events.
