The Kwanzaa Experience presented by DC Connection

The Douglas County Connection in partnership with the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County presents a special celebration of Kwanzaa, a non-religious African-American holiday, at the Cultural Arts Center on Sunday, December 20 from 3—5 pm. Come sample Kwanzaa foods.  Attire: Afrocentric or bold colors with a Taste of Kwanzaa foods.  A fun and informative cultural activity for children and their families, the 2020 Kwanzaa Celebration is free and open to the public.  

Art Bazaar presented by DC Art Guild

When: December 3, 2020 @ 10:00 am – December 12, 2020 @ 5:00 pm
Where: Wynn Building, 8644 Campbellton Street, Douglasville, GA 30134

The Holiday Bazaar features the work of members of the Douglas County Art Guild.  Original works will be for sale at all price points, items ranging from ceramics to ornaments, stained glass to paintings, providing unique items for every taste and budget.  Stocking stuffers aplenty, tree ornaments in abundance, and artwork to purchase for a distinctive gift will all be available. The Art Bazaar will take place two weekends, December 3rd thru the 12th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
